A Global Gal who loves her view.

A Global Gal with a Global Purpose.

Yep!, I am a global gal!. Ever since I was a little girl, I loved hearing and reading about countries I didn't live in. I couldn't get enough on far away places. I guess part of this is because God put a call in my heart for the world, not just my back yard.

Over the years, my response to my interest has manifested in many different ways.

1. Reading romance novels of people located in other countries (totally unreal, and eventually, I had to stop because they became very inappropriate.)

2. Loving movies depicting a foreign country or culture.

3. Facinated by missionaries and I loved supporting missions., Every penny counted. Yep, I did a lot of "Penny Offering" counting when raising funds.

4. Praying for opportunities for me to "go" and "do" something in another country,.

5. An empty feeling inside waiting for it to be filled.

It became a dream and a vision to answer the draw of God & walk out my involvement in the world. But, being a wife, a mother, a pasoral staff member and holding down two additional jobs out of the home, tended to put a damper on things.

Often, I would find myself asking God questions out of frustration and yet continueing to press toward the goal. It was evident to me, he had placed the desire in my heart, so why was I unable to fully step into it?

Because god knew what, when and how it is to happen and I didn't.

The Ministry of A Neue Now was developed in response to how God opened doors and has sent me to the world. My journey may be different from yours, but I do know this.

Say "Yes! to His

"How about this?".

When a heart is willing to say "Yes" to his "How about this?"great things can happen!

I have discovered:

  • God knows far more than I do - relax and be open to his direction, even when it isn't what or how you would have envisioned it happening, do it anyway.

  • Pray & Pursue- pray about it and find out what God wants you to do to participate in the call. Develop skills and spiritual depth in the journey to the fulfillment. Each little step leads you closer and has a purpose of learning.

  • Fear not! Do not let fear be a determining factor for if you do or don't do what you feel led to do.

  • Allow the 'Faith-Factor' to be a guide in your journey. Step out when you don't always understand what is happening, or you doubt yourself and your ability. Face it, it is not about you. It is about Him and what He can do through you. Don't doubt His ability.

  • Be a dreamer. Dream about how it may look or what you can do to partner with Holy Spirit in the journey.

  • Be a Treasure Hunter. God gave you a treasure to be shared. Is it something you have buried because you felt it could never happen, or it is for a later date? It is time to dig it up and revisit the vision or calling he has placed in you.

Get your shovel and map and ask God to help you re-dig for your treasure.

Being a global gal, means I see through eyes magnified by the lens of the world.

I love my view.

How about you?
